OUTER SPACE IS NOW OPEN for greatly improved viewing at Bruneau Dunes State Park. A new observatory and high-powered telescope allow visitors to ‘fly’ anywhere in the known universe to see planets, nebula, star clusters, galaxies and other deep sky objects. AHJ Engineers partnered with SEA West Enterprises to engineer and design the new domed observatory, lobby, viewing space, imaging control room, and instrument mount. The southern Idaho desert dark sky provides the perfect backdrop for seasoned astronomers and curious first-time intergalactic stargazers. Go out to the dunes and check it out!
